A Prayer Heavenly Father, give us the strength to forgive, To forgive those who have desecrated our land. The land we came to years ago to avoid persecution. Freedom is this great countrys foundation. We have fought many battles------ From the Revolutionary War to fain our freedom To World War II to keep our freedom, and now, The first war of the twenty-first century. Heavenly Father, help us to understand why this happened. Please help the families of the victims to heal, and grow stronger, Help us to never take for granted the freedom we fought so hard for. And on that day, September11, 2001, that freedom was threatened. Heavenly Father, with Your help and guidance, We can put our lives back together again. Maybe someday, with Your help and guidance, We will be able to forgive, but we should never forget. Heavenly Father, we ask that You keep us safe. We ask Your guidance in safeguarding our freedom For we will never give up our right to freedom. We ask all this you Your name, Amen. Copyright 2001 I wrote this right after 9-11.
