A Prayer for Bangladesh 8 December 2014 God of mercy and grace, we pray for our sister in faith Minoti Soren, now a patient at Christian Mission Hospital in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. In the rural area where she and her husband live in a one-room, dirt-floored hut, even their poor neighbors recognize that the couple is especially poor. For over a month, Minoti had been suffering at home with such profound anemia that her heart could not pump properly. She was so weak she could hardly walk. Although she is now receiving blood transfusions and beginning to feel better, tests have not yet revealed the cause of her anemia. Lord, look upon your children who suffer burden upon burden and give them rest. Help your humble servant Minoti to recover from her illness, and reveal to her your steadfast love.
