A Prayer from the Truth and Reconciliation walk yesterday: Amidst other wonders of our lives We live with one another, and so we walk together In the light of this unlikely world Which is not ours for long. And so,may we spend generously the time we have been given. May we enact our responsibilities as thoroughly as we enjoy our pleasures. May we seek a vision that encompasses all beings (all my relations) May we see with clarity. May we honour the mystery that is beyond our sight May we hold in our hands the gift of good work (a child, a relationship, right relations) And bring it forth whole As we have been bright forth by a power we praise Creator, Chayeesum, (Sto:lo word for Creator) Brought forth into this one earth, this homeland of all we love.
