A Prayer to place trust in God and not in the things of the world Father God I come before you on behalf of Christians who have misplaced their principle trust that directs their life. Father there is Christians who have placed their trust in their own accomplishments or in the attaining of wealth; and some rely only in the trust they have placed in their own family. Father many Christians seeking a life purpose or in following a new direction have misplaced their trust by having a primary dependence upon the state; as now the state has become their slave master. Father God, America’s elderly are held captive by a fear set by a governmental entity; threatening them with losing their retirement income; as the state desires there dependence on them thus the state will become their slave master. 2 Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. Father I witness elected and appointed government officials following the unworthy and the ungodly; proclaiming a false social justice system as being worthy; while quoting dubious facts and direct lies. Those who are not worthy are asking American Christians to follow their secular ways that are contrary to the righteous truths given and pronounced in the Scriptures. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Father God I pray that I am courageous and worthy; that I will follow by faith those ways that the Holy Spirit directs me to follow in my life. I pray that I might be an encouragement to others pronouncing my trust and faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that my hope is in my Lord Jesus and that I will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit; placing my total trust in body, mind and spirit to doing the will of my Heavenly Father. Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” I pray that many will witness the light and the peace within me and each believer, whom seeks to follow our Heavenly Fathers’ ways of righteousness; as this is the truth found only in the love and peace given by our Lord Jesus.
