A Proper Perspective “For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” - Hebrews 4:12 In the sanctuary, in our communion with God, we gain a proper perspective of life. As we thoughtfully read and meditate on the Word of God, moving through it book by book, God speaks to us. His words, His precepts, become a measurement, a divine assessment for our own lives—our values, our desires, our behavior…and what we are to think and believe.
