A Proud Share & A Plea to my friends, From an American grandmother with two Norwegian grandsons.The eldest finished his tour,as a gunner & firefighter with the Norwegian Navy.The youngest was just accepted,( as one of 14 from 800 applicants!) in the elite Paratrooper Commando of Hærens Jegerkommando a special forces unit of the Norwegian military; a 1st platoon strike force of NATO..Exactly why should any Grandmother have to live in fear, as did the families of our unfortunate soldiers,and the hundreds of thousand innocent Afghanis and Iraqis?Please explain exactly what this allegedly “limited” maneuver will accomplish, other than inflame the world? Please explain how the sad, irreversible damage that has been done in Syria affects the security of the US… unless we once again jump into the bloody sands we have already planted and invite retaliation. The damage has been done..please move forward with diplomacy, for which the rational countries and majority of Americans are asking. Poll indicate 50%-75% of Americans are against taking the world into another War. That’s just numbers..please add your personal voice..forward my letter,write your own and send to whitehouse.gov your congressional representative/senator or any media contact. Please.
