A Psalm from my heart... When I shed tears in the secret confines of my room. When my heart is overwhelmed with all im having to go through, pain deep in my heart that words cannot describe. My Lord and friend your voice like many waters pours into the crevices of my aching/hurting soul, soothing my heart and giving me strength to try yet again... Another day! When my heart palpitates with fear; fear of the unknown not knowing what tomorrow holds or if my dreams will ever come true. You seem to find a way to reassure and comfort me. Like David said in your favour there is life When I look to my right and my left, when all my friends have forsaken me. They stand afar off watching and waiting to see me fall and bend my head in shame. You oh Lord are the hand upon which I lean, the secret place to which I can run. Who can ever love me like you? Where would I be if you hadnt chosen to call me your own? Im delighted that with you I dont have to pretend or try to be macho; I can simply kneel and pour my heart out. None of my prayers or cry for help to you do you consider silly or stupid. With you I can be real; I can shed my tears, bring forth my struggles and not be afraid of being mocked, scorned, rejected or turned away. Thank you dear Lord for loving me so! Im honoured that you will call your son... What a privilege. Indeed my life is only worth living because you are part of it. Every morning its in your smile I find confidence to approach my day, week or month... To know that I gladden your heart is satisfaction that no food, water or material thing could ever give me. Forever and ever you will be my God! Selah!
