A QUICK LOOK OF THE 30TH REGULAR SESSION OF THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN, SILANG, CAVITE.- September 8, 2014 The following Committee Reports were adopted: 1. COMMITTEE REPORT FROM : The Committee on Public Works RE : Transmittal Letter from the Office of the Mayor, Hon. Emilia Lourdes Poblete, requesting for a resolution authorizing her to sign the Memorandum of Agreement to undertake the implementation of public infrastructure project on the construction of Pedestrian Overpass along Silang By-Pass Road (Brgys. Tubuan, Luksuhin, intersection) and Silang By-Pass (in front of Far Eastern College), Brgy. San Vicente II. The Committee on Public Works conducted a committee hearing on August 19, 2014 to discuss the Memorandum of Agreement to be made and entered into by and among the Department of Public Works and Highway(DPWH) and the Municipal Government of Silang to undertake the implementation of public infrastructure project on the construction of pedestrian overpass along Silang By-pass Road(Brgy. Tubuan, Lucsuhin Intersection) and Silang By-Pass(in front of Far Eastern University), Brgy. San Vicente II. Present during the hearing were the chairman of the committee, vice chairman and its members, representative from DPWH Engineering District II Engr. Liezl Joy Angcaya and Engr. Jesus Caacbay, Municipal Engineering I of Silang. The committee hereby recommends the passing of the said resolution. 2. COMMITTEE REPORT FROM : The Committee on Environmental Protection & Natural Resources RE : Transmittal Letter from the Office of the Mayor, Hon. Emilia Lourdes Poblete, endorsing a draft Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the proposed installation of Coco Mat Project at Brgy. Batas, Silang, Cavite. The Committee on Environmental Protection and Natural Resources conducted a hearing on August 26, 2014 to discuss the Memorandum of Agreement to be made and entered into by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the municipal government of Silang for the proposed installation of Coco Mat Project at Brgy. Batas, Silang, Cavite. Present during the hearing were the chairman of the committee, its members and the resource person from the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office(MENRO) Ms. Merlina Cabrera. During the hearing, the committee showed strong support and willingness for the draft MOA which will be the basis of the proposed installation of 2,440 sq. meters coco mat project at Brgy. Batas, Silang, Cavite with the corresponding fund allocation of Php 1,098,000.00 from the DENR fund. The committee hereby recommends for the passing of the said resolution. 3. COMMITTEE REPORT FROM : The Committee on Good Government RE : Request from the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Emilia Lourdes Poblete for a resolution retitling some non-career positions in the plantilla of Regular Employees for the year 2013 and 2014. The Committee on Good Government conducted a hearing on August 15, 2014 to discuss the letter request from the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Emilia Lourdes Poblete for a resolution retitling some non-career positions in the plantilla of Regular Employees for the year 2013 and 2014. Present during the hearing were Hon. Nestor Patawe, Hon. Francisco Paolo P. Crisostomo, from the Committee on Good Government and Ms. Consuelo Aida B. Gonzales of HR Department of the Municipality of Silang. In the said hearing, Ms. Gonzales discussed the need for retitling some non-career positions in the plantilla which includes the following: Office of the Municipal Mayor 1. Senior Administrative Officer III to Private Secretary II 2. Administrative Aide IV to Driver II 3. Administrative Aide III to Driver I 4. Attorney V to Legal Officer V The committee recommends for an adoption of the said resolution and moves for the adoption of the report to form part of the records of the sanggunian. 4. COMMITTEE REPORT FROM : The Committee on Good Government RE : Request to Hon. Rosalie B. Loyola, Municipal Vice Mayor, from Ms. Consuelo Aida B. Gonzales, requesting for a Resolution for the retitling of co-terminus position in the Regular Plantilla for 2013-2014. The Committee on Good Government conducted a hearing on August 15, 2014 to discuss the letter request from the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Emilia Lourdes Poblete for a resolution retitling some non-career positions in the plantilla of Regular Employees for the year 2013 and 2014. Present during the hearing were Hon. Nestor Patawe, Hon.
