A Qualified Criminal Lawyer: Aizan Development is looking for an academic with a masters’ degree in law, preferably a PhD. 5+ years of substantial research experience of dealing with criminal law and public policy issues. Proven experience of working with criminal justice actors; Previous experience of working on correctional services. Experience of working with executive and judicial personnel. Fluency in English and Urdu. Advanced communication skills, including active listening skills and excellent written communication. Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to work collegially with team members and stakeholders. Ability to think analytically, clearly and logically. Ability to allocate and review priorities to meet deadlines. Flexibility in approach and an ability to adapt to varying demands. Proven skills in problem identification and resolution. An ability to translate high-level objectives into action planning. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. 3+ years of experience of dealing with criminal law and public policy. A degree in law, preferably masters. Experience of practicing criminal law or criminal legal research, preferably in KP. Fluency in English and Urdu. Fluency in Pashto. Previous experience working in the field of criminal justice in KP. Previous experience working on a rule of law programme in Pakistan.
