A.R.T.H.E.S.I.S stands for Artistic Residency for Technological, Humanitarian, Educational, Scientific and Individual Search, for the promotion of the Artistic and Educational research in the field of Science, Technology, Creative Educational programs and Projects and Arth Therapy. Housed in the two of the three floors of an opering plastic industry, located near the Athens School of Fine Arts and near the metro, bus stations, its industrial environment is ideal for the organization of EXHIBITIONS, WORKSHOPS, CONFERENCES. Its existing possibilities mekes it also perfect for an ARTISTIC RESIDENCY, with beautiful direct views of Acropolis and Athens Basin, only 10 from the center of Athens and 5 of Pireus. The machinery existing, the possibilities for other form of technical/electronic equipment to work, the sound proof environment and the personel of the industry makes also possible the realizazion of many works, moulds etc of plastic. It is ideal for the organization of workshop of every artistic media, or educational purpose. ARTHESIS in October will host the exhibition DEMOCRACY VIBRATING of Dimitri Dokatzi, the conference/video and photo exhibition of Santiago Sierra/Carolina del Olmo and Geroge-Byron Davos on Multitude as a new political/artistic subject and in November the ART/SCIENCE exhibition the Beuty of the World) with international artists. In 2015 are scheduled two paneuropean and panhellenic congresses on Education and Art,, along with educational laboratories.
