A REALLY cool short story to read in Spanish is Julio Cortazars La Noche Boca Arriba. ....I think it would make a cool movie called The War of Flowers with the scenes mixed up kind of like Gweneth Paltrows Sliding Doors, cause there are two stories going at once - one a dream story and the other a waking story. and they left, in certain epochs, to hunt enemies: it was called the War of Flowers. -- Jacques Soustelle in The Daily Life of the Aztecs on the Eve of the Spanish Conquest. If you cant find La Noche Boca Arriba on its own, its included in a volume of short stories by Latino authors called Cinco Maestros. :)
