CAMDA ASIA is an Umbrella Association that Network and Linking All Cameroonian Associations in Asian Countries with the Government of Cameroon (Department of Cameroonians Abroad, Ministry of External Affairs Yaounde Cameroon) via the Embassies of Cameroon in Asia. The Cameroon’s 48th National Youth Day Celebrations, 11 Feb 2014 with this year’s theme: “YOUTH, PATRIOTISM AND THE PROMOTION OF NATIONAL UNITY” speaks to us (Cameroonians in the Diaspora) directly, a called for UNITY which bring Strength, Technological Innovation, Sustainable Development, Credible Business Investment, Job Creation and Economic Growth back home. Time has come for Country President of Cameroon Associations in each Asian Countries to Join CAMDA ASIA and Rise to the Centre and take our place as Leaders alongside the rest of the Young Talents of this Glory and Blessed Country CAMEROON in order to support the Government and the Cameroon Diplomatic Mission Abroad (Asia). For to borrow from the Great English Statesman, Francis Bacon; “We would be Leaders if and Only if we move ourselves from where we are (COMFORT ZONE of EAT & DRINKING & become Critics of Government) to where we Should be (Bring Development & Investment back Home)”. To get there, we must believe that we are the Motor of Cameroon’s Development and Business Investment Not ONLY the Government or the Diplomatic Mission . Together we shall work with the Government of Cameroon (The Embassies of Cameroon & Ambassadors of Cameron in Asian Countries: OUR PATRONS) to make Cameroon a blistering country of hospitality, solidarity and Unity so that it takes its rightful place in the temple of Development, Foreign Direct Investment and Emerging Nation. The objective is UNITY, IDEAS, TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION, ATTRACTING CREDIBLE BUSINESS INVESTMENT INTO CAMEROON FROM HOST COUNTRY AND PROTECTING THE RIGHTS OF CAMEROONIANS IN ASIA. The Aim is to Foster International Trade between Cameroon and Host Asian Country and empowering of Cameroonian Local businesses into becoming Multinationals as they enter into Joint Ventures Projects with Foreign Investors.
