A RECIPROCATIVE SPIRIT: Last Wednesday Miguel, a gentleman in - TopicsExpress

A RECIPROCATIVE SPIRIT: Last Wednesday Miguel, a gentleman in need, came in asking us for help with his TXU electric bill. And we did! He was really appreciative and he had to share about our kindness, by telling Sally, another neighbor in need, of how we had helped him. He told her he was sure we could help her too. So Sally came in on Thursday and, of course, we helped her. During her time here she and our very outspoken resident Robbie got in a conversation where he told her that the next day (Friday) would be Edwins birthday. Well, lo and behold, she showed up on Friday, with yet another friend, and a cake, cookies, breakfast tacos and some really spicy homemade salsa to celebrate his birthday! Now, her demonstration of appreciation didnt stop there! That day she, and the female friend she had brought along, went to our clothing closet and helped by organizing a little bit. But again, her appreciation did not stop there... Yesterday (Tuesday) she came back again, together with 3 other ladies, to get back to work. And work they did! Take a look at the pictures that show their work at the clothing closet and them dusting, cleaning, and even rearranging our lobby! They said the office is next... Well see! In summary: We helped someone who in turn wanted to help someone else. That someone else came and was helped, and in return she blesses our socks off! Our gratitude not only to these ladies for helping us, but to YOU as well! YOU bless us with your financial support and prayers, and that keeps us going and helping us others! ...Give thanks with a grateful heart, give thanks to the Holy One, give thanks for He has given Jesus Christ, His Son...
