A Response to a Reader: ProudConservative, Americas problem is not a Debt problem, but an unemployment problem. Those that are capable of working should be working and the formula is simple. The number of producers, ie. The Numerator, must remain high. The number of non-producers, ie. The Denominator, must never equal or come close to the size of the Numerator. The larger the Denominator, the more they will have to take from those that produce and give to those that dont. The system becomes mathematically unsound as the denominator rises. Example: Social Security, SSI, Medicare, Medicaid, Prescription Drug Plans, Obamacare, Food Stamps, Farm Insurance, Flood Insurance, FDIC, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and more tax loop holes which control public and Private, for profit and non-profit corporation more than any Communist could dream. How much bigger do you want to make the Denominator in this equation? We are Socialist; however, we are horrible at practicing socialism. Capitalism did not fail America, Americans failed Capitalism. We were not good enough to live up to the principles of Capitalism.
