A SEED? HOW SMALL! HOW UNIMPORTANT LOOKING! QUESTION - How does a person become a Christian? By Keeping the Commandments or by coming to Christ with faith in His promises? glowonline.org/promise-of-peace Notice the difference between HOW A PERSON becomes a Christian - It is true that a Christian follows the commandments of God and obeys Scripture but is that how one becomes a Christian?? - Promise of Peace is actually most of the sixth chapter of Steps to Christ. The title name has changed but the contents are the same. It’s missing the first paragraph – which says, “As your conscience has been quickened by the Holy Spirit, you have seen something of the evil of sin, of its power, its guilt, its woe; and you look upon it with abhorrence. You feel that sin has separated you from God, that you are in bondage to the power of evil. The more you struggle to escape, the more you realize your helplessness. Your motives are impure; your heart is unclean. You see that your life has been filled with selfishness and sin. You long to be forgiven, to be cleansed, to be set free. Harmony with God, likeness to Him--what can you do to obtain it? – Though it’s missing this paragraph it is a tremendously important tract to purchase at $5 a hundred and distribute “like the leaves of autumn.” glowonline.org and glowcentral.org see the couple dozen different tracts and tracts in over a dozen languages that you can use as a world missionary for Jesus Christ. Jesus came as the SEED SOWER and has commissioned you and commanded you to be a seed sower! “The seed is the Word of God.” Luke 8:11. Jesus said, “Behold, a sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” Matthew 13:3-9. Jesus has commanded each of us to “go and teach all nations.” Matthew 28:18-20. Don’t look around at others to see your duty. Others may not be fulfilling God’s commandment and great commission. Look to Christ and do what He says. Order your missionary tracts directly through the two links or other links you find by putting the words “Glow Tracts” into a search engine like Google. Inspire others to purchase and distribute God’s Seed. “He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” 2 Corinthians 9:6. What do you want to be doing 10,000 years from now? Will you be regretting that you sowed sparingly or will you be praising God that you sowed His Seed, His Word, His tracts, His books (like the Great Controversy) bountifully “like the leaves of autumn?” Do everything you can to help others share eternal life with you. Talk and pray with others that they too will catch the vision. The “foolish” Christian of Matthew 7:14-27 and of Matthew 24:1-13 is a “lukewarm” Christian and a lost Christian should he or she not repent (Revelation 3:14-21) . But let’s, you and me, Repent today and each and every day. Let’s open the windows of heaven through constant prayer throughout the day (silent prayers) that God will convert us thoroughly and live in our hearts and give us a burning desire to share His Seed, His Words, His Tracts and His Books with others around us and on the internet, face book, emails etc. -You are a Christian when you come to Christ acknowledging your weakness, sinfulness and need (Matthew 5:6), confess your sins to Him, asking Him to forgive your sins and give you a new heart, believing His promise 1John 1:9; Ezekiel 26:36 believing that His forgiveness comes through His promises, knowing He created the world by speaking it into existence and knowing He imparts His loving power to me by speaking forgiveness and a new heart through His promise and trusting His promise to give me the gifts of forgiveness, a new heart because He promised ask and it will be given, seek and you shall find, Knock and it will be opened Luke 11:9-13 Notice this promise ends with the words If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him. Our mistake is in not understand the process of the New Birth - Jesus said Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God John 33. There is a difference between righteousness by works and righteousness by Faith - The new birth is missed by many but this is the entrance into Christianity, and we walk the walk of living as a Christian day after day in the same way we came to Him through FAITH in His promises - see Ministry of Healing page 122. The same power that Christ exercised when He walked visibly among men is in His word. It was by His word that Jesus healed disease and cast out demons; by His word He stilled the sea and raised the dead, and the people bore witness that His word was with power. He spoke the word of God, as He had spoken to all the prophets and teachers of the Old Testament. The whole Bible is a manifestation of Christ.: {Ministry of Healing, page 122). The Scriptures are to be received as Gods word to us, . . . So with all the promises of Gods word. In them He is speaking to us individually, speaking as directly as if we could listen to His voice. It is in these promises that Christ communicates to us His grace and power. They are leaves from that tree which is for the healing of the nations. Revelation 22:2. Received, assimilated, they are to be the strength of the character, the inspiration and sustenance of the life. Nothing else can have such healing power. Nothing besides can impart the courage and faith which give vital energy to the whole being. {Ministry of Healing, page 122). HAVE FAITH – BELIEVE THAT HE WILL ANSWER AND REWARD YOUR FAITH “Another element of prevailing prayer is faith. He who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6. Jesus said to His disciples, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:24. Do we take Him at His word?” READ MORE ON GOD’S DIVINE SCIENCE OF PRAYER – How to be “born again and “walk” with Jesus 1. whiteestate.org/books/ed/ed30.html - Faith and Prayer 2. whiteestate.org/books/sc/sc6.html - Faith and Acceptance 3. glowcentral.org/promise-of-peace-2/ - The Promise-of-Peace 4. whiteestate.org/books/mh/mh7.html - The Co-Working of the Divine and the Human 5. whiteestate.org/books/sc/sc11.html - The Privilege of Prayer 6. whiteestate.org/books/col/col12.html - Asking to Give 7. glowcentral.org/talking-with-god/ - Talking with God Please be God’s Missionary and share this information by highlighting, copying and sending this entire message to everyone you know via email and, or, going to the bottom of this post and clicking on the word “share” and the word “public” that will appear when you click on “share.” Do this and it will be on your very own timeline on face book.
