A SHORT BUT MEANINGFUL STORY ****************************** A man was once passing through a dense forest in leisurely manner smelling the flowers and admiring the beauty of the place and wondering at the way sunrays filtered their way through the dense branches................Then suddenly he heared a laud and frightening sound a ferocious lion and this large lion was fast approaching towards him and the thin waist of the lion was indicative of his hunger..............The mans heart nearly leaped out at the sight of it all., and so he started to run for his life......The lion was about to catch him when the man saw a well upfront and without giving any thought took a mighty leap and jumped in to the well and ended up dangling on the surface of the well through a rope................The lions voice slowly but surely faded/quieted........ but then he heared a hissing of giant snake which came from somewhere below him. Just as the man was thinking how and what to do about the lion and snake, he saw a black and white mouse climbing upto the place where the rope is attached, and then to his horror saw both of them started to nibble away at the rope....The man was pertified so started to shakle the rope, hoping to get rid of the them but in the process the rope begun to swing and knocking him against the walls... The man started to feel wet and sticky on the wall sides while getting banged against the walls, on licking the substance,he found out it to be honey; the type made bt bees in the forest and mountains..............The Honey was so sweet, delicious that he continued to do so and forgot the situation he was in......And Suddenly the man woke up ??? !!! For it was all just a horrible dream !!! But the man was so shaken that he should get his dream translated through a Scholar who is knowledgeable in translation of dreams. The Scholar after listening tohis dream laughed and said you really dont know the the interpretation of your dream ? The man said he did not........... So the Scholar replied : The lion that was chasing you was the angel of death and the well with the snake in it is your grave and the two mise are the nights and days of your life that are depleting your life............The man asked and what about the honey ? The Scholar replied : The honey is the sweet taste of life that is distracting you and made you forget the Death, the day of Judgement are just behind you.
