A SIMPLE GESTURE “If only I touch His cloak, I will get well.” – Matthew 9:21 Just like in today’s reading, we only need to see a glimpse of Christ to be healed. It can be as simple as an encouragement from a friend. A simple invitation to a prayer meeting. A fellowship at The Feast. Unwavering love from a mother. A book for a gift. My journey towards getting to know God on a personal level started when a close friend gifted me with a book of Bo Sanchez. Since I first got hold of his book, my collection of Bo Sanchez’s books grew in number until I was introduced to The Kerygma Feast. I was starstruck when I first saw the man who spoke to me through his writings. Just like other women my age, I got over my crush on Bo. I tried to actively seek my one true love (OTL) after reading two of his books on the topic. After spending the first seven years of my journey in serving the Lord and healing my past hurts, I did find my OTL. We both invited God to be at the center of our relationship.
