A SPECIAL AFTERNOON FOR A VERY SPECIAL CAUSE Classic cars, trucks and motorcycles will be the order of the day when the Ridgecrest based Krumzvillains Motorcycle club presents their second annual KV Rumble Car and Bike Show. This annual event is set for November 30th, from 10am until 2pm, in the parking lot of DJs Pub located at 135 Garnet Avenue. The show will benefit a very special cause near and dear to the Krumzvillains: the Wounded Warriors Project, (WWP). The WWP was founded in 2003, in Roanoke-Virginia, by a group of veterans and friends who took action to help the injured service men and women of this generation. The organizations headquarters is located in Washington DC and, since its initial inception, has expanded to eleven regional offices around the country including the southern California office located in San Diego. The WWP is an official registered charity under the auspices of the Internal Revenue Services code 501 (c) (3). The organizations mission statement states that the WWP was created to honor and empower wounded warriors who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness or wound co-incident to their military service on or after September 11th, 2001. You may also be eligible for the program if you are the family member or care giver of a wounded warrior. Still a relatively new organization to Ridgecrest and the Indian Wells Valley, the Krumzvillains is a group dedicated to the fellowship of riding as well as motorcycle safety and participating in community events such as the upcoming second annual KV Rumble on November 30th. Registration for the event is now ongoing at DJs Pub. Early registration is $20 and includes a free T-shirt. Day of event registration is $25. There will also be space available for local vendors to participate in the event. Early booth registration is $50, day of event registration is $100. In addition to the display of cars, trucks and bikes, and the fun people who own them, the afternoon includes fun projects, music and of course food and drink. The second annual KV Rumble is going to be a fun day for the entire family supporting a very important cause in our country. For more information, contact Tom OGara at 760 382 1443.
