A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM THE PHILLY 10K RACE: Dear Neighborhood Civic Association, I want to share with you an exciting event that Philadelphia Runner, a local business in Center City, is putting on this September that will feature your neighborhood. The Philly 10K is a road race beginning and ending in South Philly during the morning of September 6th and will run through a dozen of Philly’s best neighborhoods in South Philly and Center City highlighting the beauty and culture of our great city along the way. We care deeply about being good stewards to our neighbors and want to make sure you have our contact information so we can answer any questions about the race you may have. We have been working close with the city’s Managing Director’s Office to obtain the proper permits and ensure that police will be present and the course logistics are executed smoothly. We have also worked with Councilman Squilla’s office and he has offered to connect us to you so we can ensure that this race is great for all parties involved.
