A STEWARDESS POSITION ON A 52M MOTOR YACHT (CAYMAN ISLAND FLAGGED) (PRIVATE/CHARTER) A private/charter 52M Motor Yacht is currently searching for a Stewardess to join the crew of 14. This position will include duties of a service stewardess and one of a housekeeping stewardess that rotates duties as necessary. The primary goal is to ensure you create the ideal atmosphere for guests expected on a world class yacht. This is accomplished by anticipating every need and setting a tone for the perfect experience while onboard. The Service Steward(ess) role : will be responsible for delivering the highest level of service to guests. The service must be seamless while being visible but not intrusive at all times. The service stew must display meticulous attention to detail both in duties and in personal presentation. You must have a vast knowledge of various service types. The house keeping stew role : will be responsible for the set up and maintaining of all guest and crew areas. The primary goal is to ensure the presentation of guest areas are to the standards outlined by the chief stewardess and to meet expectations for guests on a world class yacht. Must be super organised, and motivated with good communication skills. o Summary of essential skills and knowledge: o All styles of food service and bartending. o Table set ups including napkin folding and decorations. o Interior cleaning of all guest and crew areas. o Impeccable care of exotic furnishings, fabrics and finishes. o Discretion: Security, confidentiality and privacy issues. o Appearance: Personal etiquette in communication, personal hygiene, appearance and attitude o International protocol and correct forms of address o Floral arrangement and table design o Up to date knowledge of processing laundry of high end garments. o Knowledge of cleaning and laundry products. o Liaise with owners and guests as well as the chefs regarding any dietary and food requests. o Diplomatically and effectively resolve guest grievances/problems Liaise with Chief Stew to • Purchase, inventory and store items relevant to the interior BENEFITS: Standard medical insurance is provided and one flight home a year. 38 days standard annual holidays are provided.
