A Salute to SOMEBODY...... While exiting from Ernakulam South Railway Station realised that my mobile was missing.... Panicked...... around 12 @ night, busy station, trains coming , halting and leaving, passengers roaming, dogs, beggers, sweepers, Coolies, Police, malayalis, tamilians, Northies, Southees, Westees, Eastiees, Foreigners and almost all specimens available congested in a Platform and in between my missing mobile. Sense prevailed and called to my number from friends mobile. Encouraging sign= The phone is ringing. Discouraging sign= No one is picking it up. Tried many times but yet no response. Went back to the place where we sat and sharpened our ears for my phones ring to be heard. A fat bellied Russian with whom we chatted earlier was missing from his seat ..... Suspicious.... the man staying in our seat when enquired started hicupping.... Suspicious..... Meanwhile the phone was still ringing but not being picked up.....thoughts of going to Cyberpolice. In between the friends balance got over for unknown reasons.....Hope lost. Found a stranger, Shamsu from kuttiyadi calicut, told him the situation and started calling from his phone while we went around to find the Ringtone in the busy noisy platform..........Suddenly shamsu is talking and waiving his hand, somebody picked up the phone. It was the stationmaster. SOMEBODY had submitted the phone to him. An avalanche of relief flowed through me.. ran, now flew to his Cabin. there it was. My beloved phone. Thanked the station master and enquired about who the SOMEBODY was? He dint knew...said it was some railway staff. ...... We couldnt meet SOMEBODY but thanked that person from our heart and wished her/ him goodness. Even though it was a small act of kindness from SOMEBODY, we realised that humanity is still in the air..... Thanks a lot to SOMEBODY ,Shamsu.....&Great GOD
