A Saturday evening accident in Newton County has killed a 52-year old man from Quapaw, Oklahoma. According to Missouri Highway Patrol, 52-Year Old Johnny Burrow and his passenger, 52 year old Kathy Burrow of Quapaw, Oklahoma were waiting to make a left-hand turn near mile 43, just north of Seneca, on his motorcycle when a car driven by 68 year old Susan Pope struck him in the rear, causing her 2008 Chevy Cobalt to overturn. The impact caused Johnny Burrow to be ejected from the motorcycle, and collide with a 1990 Ford Pickup truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Kathy Burrow was taken to Freeman Hospital with serious injuries.
