It makes you uncannily beautiful, inexplicably confident and fiercely protected and fearless. We often find ourselves searching for such a kind of love … striving for it, fighting for it, demanding it and even innocently plotting for it. All of us are not successful, however. We keep on striving until the efforts frustrate us and leave us bitter, sarcastic and self-pitying. What we don’t comprehend is that all our efforts to please and win love are being channelized in the wrong direction and towards the wrong person. Surprisingly, the answer is banally simple: Please Allah and the His creation will be pleased with you, Seek His love and His creation will love you, Strive for His affection and His creation will be affectionate towards you.
