A Solstice Greeting from Dr Soracha Cashman, founder of Phenomenal Feminine Winter Solstice love from Ireland to you all!! This is Sí an Bhrú - Newgrange - an ancient 5000 year old passage tomb in Meath. Since my youth I have called it a passage womb, for the pregnant mound that encircles it, and the careful ancient design for special Midwinter Sunrise which every year sees Sunlight slowly penetrate the sacred entrance and progress along the passageway to the womb chamber at its core. Brú is old Irish for womb, now taken to mean palace or mansion :) so to me Sí an Bhrú is the Fairy Palace of the Womb This Winter in the wilds of Ireland, the Sun God once more makes love to Mother Earth, and honours her womb-palace, so that Light can be reborn. The skies are grey, and the wind has a bitter chill. But hundreds of birds fly over head calling their mantras to the heavens.
