A Space for Dance, Dialogue and Developing Community. Beginning January 16th and the 3rd Thursday of each month, I will facilitate experimental evenings dedicated to Dance, Dialogue and Developing Community. There will be the opportunity to dive deeply into dance/movement, as well as speaking. Together and individually, we will explore the edges, borders and bridges between the dreamscapes of dance and the day to day details of our lives. This space is held with deep respect and appreciation for the teachers who have brought us thus far, and who take us to the portal of our greatest teacher- the one who is within. It is said that all of the answers are inside of us, but often the information lays dormant waiting to be asked a potent question that will unlock our inner wisdom. My intent is to set the stage, ask good questions and then give you the time and space to explore and find the keys to unlock your own inner wisdom. For the final phase of the evening, we will take some time to share our experience and reintegrate the body and mind, visual and verbal aspects of self. We do this in community, so that the learning is multiplied and we all can benefit. As a facilitator, I bring a lifelong love of dance, theatre, the expressive arts, an endless curiosity about people and relationship, a thirst for clear, honest communication and community, and a passionate love of the exploration of these topics. I have a BA degree in Psychology, certifications in massage and life coaching. I have spent many years deeply involved in groups of many kinds.
