A Student at the Divecha Center for Climate Change has finally cracked the mystery behind the unbearably hot Bangalore summer this year. In his thesis titled On strange and totally unscientific reasons for increase in Bangalores temperature, he argues at length that there is a strong positive correlation between number of students in the institute losing motivation to work and increase in the citys temperature. He goes on further to argue that the hot summer should be seen as nothing else but as a significant evolutionary development to push out 8th year PhD students to stop chilling out in the cool Bangalore weather for the rest of their lives. Several scientific minds who will nod for any hypothesis that has the word evolution in it have happily agreed to award this innovative thesis a gold medal.
