A Sunday Thought: Sometimes we may feel as though we are walking alone in the desert! On those moments, let us remember that God has us there for a reason! Instead of complaining, perhaps God wants us to be grateful for what we have while we are there! Take a moment to thank Him for the sand as it creases between our toes; thank Him for the hot sun as it beams down to add color to our faces; thank Him for the beautiful cactuses; thank him for the silence, for it gives us time to think only of God; and most of all thank Him for that one small drop of water that we find suddenly gushing along a hidden sand stream! Yes, thank Him repeatedly; and soon the desert will turn to a beautiful garden! To complain will only leave us stranded!
