A Sunday evening conversation: Shay: The kinds of movies Ill make when Im grown-up will be full of action and funny dialogue. Me: I totally believe it! The movie youre working on right now already has that! Shay: Ya, but not that thinking kind of dialogue. You know, like in movies where the conversations are smart and full of meanings. You know, not like really good movies. Me: Oh? Shay: Ya, you know, I just want to make fun movies. Not smart ones. Smart ones are good to watch and to talk about, but I think fun ones are easier to write and direct. Plus, theyre good to watch and talk about too! Personally, I dont care what kind of movie my son makes. Its going to be original and fun to watch. And no matter what, Im betting itll be a little bit smart too!! Hugs, smiles, and love!!
