A Sunday message for you from Father Dougherty, M.M. Dear Maryknoll Friend, Rejoice, You righteous, in the LORD; praise from the upright is fitting. ~ Psalm 33:1 Our home here on Marys Knoll is bursting with spring. For me, its a majestic sign of new life following our celebration of Easter and the Resurrection. May is also a beautiful time to join with the church throughout the world to remember Mary, our spiritual mother. Marys grace and humility are examples to follow each day of our lives. Mary never questioned Gods Will, even when she did not fully understand her calling. She simply said, Thy Will be done. St. Luke portrays Mary as the model disciple because she so exemplifies the teachings of her Son. Maryknollers everywhere honor Mary—especially this month—by sharing the Gospel and inviting all to embrace our faith. May Our Lady of Maryknoll bless our mission work and all those we serve. Thank you for taking this Journey of Faith with me today, and for your devotion to Maryknoll. I know that our Fathers and Brothers are praying for you, too, and asking Our Blessed Mother to keep you in her special care.
