A Sunday morning bittersweet experience befell me this morning. More proof that God is in his Heaven......Earlier in the Summer, I posted a few pics of my little Bluebird Family. Charlie, Isabelle and unnamed Baby. Well, a few days ago, one of my demon cats, known as Rascal,(for good reason) managed to leap up and snatch Charlie. Isabelle then abandoned little Baby and he too, died. I decided to move the house to a higher location. I went out this morning and took it down. The bottom comes off for easy cleaning. I got the bottom off and started to take out the nest, with Babys remains, to properly dispose of it and it started to rain. Just a few gentle drops at a time. Didnt think a lot about it, since its been threatening rain all morning. I took it to the porch to repair one of the little wooden shingles on the roof. Went and got my wood glue and repaired it. Sat down to hold it in place, to dry a little and I noticed it had stopped raining. Hmmmm......Then it hit me and hit me hard. Heaven was mourning the loss of that little Baby and its Father. Ive never been what you would call a Religious person. Religion is man-made. I am however, a very Spiritual being. There is a God in Heaven and he gave his only Son for all if us. He controls the universe and all in it. He will snatch us out of the fire or leave us in it, til weve learned our appointed lessons.He can be hard or tender. Just like a Father. If we watch and pay attention, he makes his presence known in countless ways. He also has a very warped sense of humor. Im sure theres days I keep him laughing. He can sure make me laugh and just shake my head. Nobody in this world will EVER make me believe any different. Your Sunday School lesson for today. IMHO.
