Me: Can you handle a dog now in your life? SP: Yes, I really want a dog. Me: Sure, come volunteer at BAPS twice, and you can adopt one. SP: Oh, really? I just dont have time to volunteer. Me: Then may be youre not ready for a dog... SP: #$#%%#@$ SP gets a dog somewhere else.... --- SIX MONTHS LATER--- SP posts on Facebook: Someone please adopt my dog. He is very nice but I just dont have time for him. Moral of the story: I know my rules seem arbitrary, and I seem a jerk, but trust me, theres a reason why I HAVE to enforce these rules.
