A TALK ABOUT THE UNIVERSE On Friday October 17th, Mr. Enrique Solano, an astronomer from INTA-CSIC, and father of Monica Solano Lorente from Year 5B Primary, came to Colegio Parque to give a talk about the universe and its components to the Year 5 classes. The talk included a wide variety of videos and images that were of enormous interest to the children judging from the expressions of awe on their faces and the questions they asked. Mr. Solano also generously donated teaching resources to the staff and pens and lapel badges to the children. In return, the children presented Mr. Solano with a box of chocolates as a token of their appreciation. Foreign Languages Department
