A TBT twosome that is just too good to ignore.......one photo has an aspiring wrestler who may or may not have taken boxing lessons, but in this instance is working on becoming the next Lawrence Welk with that accordian. I wonder if Advocare allows its representatives to be able to play Lady of Spain on an accordian, win four state titles and also lead the Grand March before he ever spent one day in college? Now hes Dan Knight, a man with much less hair who is trying to teach Bettendorf kids how to win on the mat. The other photo is our young Mr. Knight sharing a golden moment with another Mr. Knight, who loved to see kids stay active, do good things on and off the athletic field, knew how to box and play the drums and used the words Tig (short for Tiger) and Dude as terms of endearment. I watched the older Mr. Knight dang near chew holes in the metal fencing that kept the crowd from the UNI-Dome floor back in the days when young Mr. Knight was winning Junior Nationals championships (and dreaming of the opportunity to fill up his jug with Mountain Dew).
