A THOUGHT These days, Pakistan, for the first time is witnessing the power of the people, who are demanding to be treated as proud Pakistanis and not as menials and subjects of a system which has proved to be the worst kind of autocracy donning the garb of democracy. The burning question is, Why did they select the Parliment and PM House to be the venues of their protest ?. At first, I was under the impression that the protestors thought that it would be an easy nut to crack. But now, with the constant outpouring of news about the blatant disregard of human lives by the custodians of these buildings, I am begining to think that the protestors chose these locations because these buildings are worthless and have no value. They and their incumbents, have in the last decade acted as the breeding grounds for poverty, ethnic divide, injustice, moral and socio economic corruption. I think, and am of the strong opinion that the protestors chose well !!!!
