A TIME OF CELEBRATION. SECONDS NATIONS BECOMES NON-PROFIT. Today we lay the ground work for the manifestation of mission and dreams. The SPIRIT is calling hearts across the land. Although the tears in our eyes shall never dry, it is through this tears we see the rainbows, the beauty, the love that lives in the Great Spirit of the land. We are seeking all the spiritual knowledge to preserve, to learn, to live, to teach our children in future generations today. Our work is so important. We declare all Native Americans carded/non-carded of ancestral links to unite...to stand tall....to answer the call. Our time is no longer coming. It is now. Stand tall. It was the government that instituted blood quorums that has caused much divide and denials of those of true spiritual hearts. Second Nations denies these barriers. If you are ancestral linked and answering to the call of the Great Creator, then you are welcome into the tribe of One people. You are family. You are relative. Open your eyes to perceive the communications of the Great Spirit given to us. We kicked through the pavement beneath our feet....we see through wires, the poles, the buildings.....to the sky.....Our Spirits rise on the wings of the eagle to Father Sky. Our victorious cries sound like the raven caws. Our ancestral spirits sing of victory...and great happiness...for their lives....their love of people and great land have not been forgotten but live within our hearts. The Spirits of our ancestors rejoice. And one day...when we reach the new world where we meet Spirit to Spirit...we will dance....smoke the peace pipe....and live in freedom and in the glory of Wakan Takan. We are preparing to hold meetings to outline our short and long range goals, the creation of our council and school, organize, meet with the chiefs, the elders, spiritual leaders, peoples across the land. We will create places for ceremonial rites, recreate ancient villages, hold powwows, weekend excursions, and tribal circles across the land. We will also create a volunteer staff for SN for various duties. There is so much work to be done. We need volunteers, your special talents, contacts, what spiritual knowledge you can obtain. Tomorrow I will announce our first annual artistic contest. This will include art, song, poetry, etc. That will begin starting tomorrow and end mid-Nov. the awards will be announced on Dec. 1st.
