A TINY DETAIL The wifey recently asked me if Ill marry her again. I guess shes in a good mood, what with the anniversary of our civil rites marriage just a few days away. I actually married this terrific Davaoenia twice --first before a municipal circuit judge and 7 months later, in church rites, before a Roman Catholic priest. Father Jerry Orbos made it known that with the Lords Grace, hes willing to officiate at our wedding again. Some of Nettes SVD priest-friends, however, want to do it this time. Back when we got hitched, they were still seminarians. Ha! Not just once, but twice-married! In short, wala siyang kawala, hahaha! She always tell her friends it was a shotgun wedding, and my relatives were holding the shotgun! True, true, all true, my dear Juan Alaskador... pinikot ko si kumander, hehehe! But in my defense, para sa isang pinipikot, she answered I DO with obvious enthusiasm both times! SANAMAGAN, Juan, gusto ko na atang maniwala na epektibo nga yung secret pamana ni Papang! As to marrying her again one of these days, Im all for the ceremony and the reception afterwards. Might have to cut back on some meat dishes, though. Of course, I look forward to the just the two of us time later in the day (and --fingers crossed- all through the night!) never mind the little & big pains that regularly remind me Im already a Steve McGarret, (Hawaii 5-O, Juan, five-oh! Cue in the the theme, quick!) Im so excited / and I just cant hide it! sabi nga ng kanta. True, so true... except for one itty, bitty, itsy, bitsy, teeny, weenie polka dot detail... No carrying the bride, p-l-e-a-s-e!!! :D ;) :D ♡♡♡
