A TIRED DOG IS A HAPPY DOG It never ceases to amaze me, dogs capacity for fun. They certainly dont care about where they go or what they do, just as long as they can get out and burn off that energy that if stuck at home will either get them into trouble or manifest into stress related behaviour. People ask me how I can walk so many dogs at once and why they dont fight or take off. Its because I take them where they want to go and I make sure they have fun. When I arrive at the dogs house to pick them up they can hardly contain themselves with excitement. They run out to the car and jump in knowing they are off for an adventure eagerly looking out the window in anticipation. At the end of the walk they happily get back into the car, tired and content. They can even come back to my home and have a munch on a bone if I am not to busy. Dog heaven. They dont want to be stuck at home or confined small spaces. They love the great outdoors to stretch their legs and burn off some steam with friends. Just like we enjoy getting out and about, so do they, even if it is just once a week.
