A ThanksLiving Prayer! O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting (1 Chron. 16:34). Father, we thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness towards us (Psalm 40:10, 89:1, 100). Your new mercies we see everyday (Lam. 3:22-23). Your lovingkindness towards us that never fails (Psalm 136:1). You said in Your Word to Rejoice always, Pray without ceasing, Give thanks in all circumstances; for This is the Will of God in Christ Jesus for you (1 Thess. 5:16-18). Thank You for revealing Your will for us in Scripture. Thank you Father for sending Yourself in the flesh (John 1:1,14) through Your Son Jesus Christ who redeemed us through shedding His blood for our sins and reconciling us back to You by Grace through Faith (Eph. 2:8-10). Thank you that we are justified by faith and not religious works (Rom. 5:1). Thank You for Your Unconditional Love (1 John 4). Thank You Jesus for sending the Holy Spirit to fill us and empower us to live and love like You (John 15:26). Thank You Holy Spirit for comforting and leading us in all truth to remind us of the Word of God where we rest our faith (John 16:13). Thank You Holy Spirit for working in us to do the Will of God our Father and His good pleasure (Phil. 2:13). Daddy thank You for adopting us (Rom. 8:14-17) into a new family of believers that seek to bring You glory. We celebrate and thank You for Your goodness as The Creator in this food we are about to receive (1 Tim. 4:4). It reminds us of the Marriage Supper of The Lamb of God where we will have with Jesus our Bridegroom in the Kingdom of God (Rev. 19:9). We give thanks for we have the opportunity and options to eat when there are so many going hungry. Let our gratitude cause us to love and serve those who are hungry, thirsty, naked, homeless, oppressed, and in prison (Matt. 25:35-36). We are thankful for Who You Are as the I AM and not just what You can do for us. We love You because you first loved us (Rom. 5:8). In the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen! God Bless You and Your Families!
