No, am not watching the movie now, but just want to alert you guys to one part in the book where the defence lawyer, at a loss as to how to win the case for his client, used a method in his closing summary which I have often used when I talk to a group about managing my autistic son. He had asked the juries to close their eyes and he brought them through all the horrors that the 10year old black girl was going through. Being continuously raped by two drunk rednecks, peed on, them left on the roadside under the hot sun. Then the lawyer asked the all-white jury members to imagine that the little girl is their own child! That turned the tide for the defends case. And now. For those who think the genocide in Gaza is just a drama to gain sympathy for the Muslims to make the Jews look bad, I tell you this: Just imagine those dead little boys and girls, bombed out of their short lives or orphaned in an instant, are your own. Or the old lady who lost her limbs during the shelling but with no hospital facilities to take care of her, is your mum. Yes, for a moment, forget about the part whether they are Muslims, Christians, Jews or Atheists. For one brief moment, just imagine they are part of your family. Just for a moment think of humanity. Then you know why the whole thinking world is against this senseless genocide. And if that does not give you the empathy, I dont know what can.#SupportGaza
