A Topp Weekend a long long way to travel, with the sun right in our eyes another weekend roadtrip, under the big blue sky over tree filled mountains, the alps off to the west a beautiful snow capped vista it is the very best Topp Lodge we are a commin, four hours up the road A night of entertainment at this wonderful abode warm greetings from the hostess a nice cold beer in hand lets sit back by the fire and listen to the band Donna right behind the bar, huge smiles serving beer the proudest mother ever dressed in her western gear She speaks of Cams successes her heart all filled with pride her smiles give it all away her love she can not hide familiar faces all around, some famous faces too break time can be difficult getting to the loo we cannot forget Lynda, her home with open doors a laugh a minute to be had, were rolling on the floors and when the night is over, and everyone has left the warmth it just continues, it is the very best next morning the birds are singing, a beauty in itself I look at their old photographs, there upon the shelf the fire full of ashes, memorys from the past empty chairs just sitting there, the lounge it is so vast so quiet after last night, it all seems so sureal we have alot to tell the folks, the fun we will reveal we say goodbye to Staverly, the mountains we will miss but not as much as Topp Lodge, relaxing, pure bliss Lynda Topp and Donna wave bye at the gate, we plan more trips to Topp lodge,for that we cannot wait.. possible chorus... we love it here at Topp Lodge, mountains all around horses in the paddocks, their feet are on the ground so loving and so friendly,so welcome weve become Lynda and her lager stick are all part of the fun
