A Tribute to my Moms - The survival of a person, much like a tree, is dependent upon the strength and depth of the root system upon which it grows. Whereas my dad taught me to be a strong person that could stand in the storms, my moms (I have 2!) taught me there is also strength in being pliable and able to bend in the wind. I was quite the handful growing up. I know that’s hard for you to believe, but it’s true! ;) I am lucky to have had the strong roots of my good family that led me around the path until I became a better person. My moms have always been there to let me know I never stand alone – even when I was at my worst. I think I’ve become a better person than I might have been, had it not been for these awesome folks who planted my seed, watched me grow, trimmed my limbs when necessary, and gave me the stake of support when needed.
