Israwear coming at you again with another update. the spirit hit me up with something quite interesting that I believe to be extremely beneficial and edifying for the whole body. Earlier I asked you all what you thought about the Levitical laws on unclean and clean foods. Not to my surprise most chose to blow by and ignore said post. Thats okay because the prophets werent love either and the people ignored them and told them to get you out the way too. Im use to it by now and havent stopped loving any of you any less for it. That all being said lets get down to the nitty gritty on the matter of allowed and whole foods unto us as the Holy people of the Most High. I mean that is what this is all about anyways right, you know becoming more Qadash (Holy) and all right? Of course it is so without further adieu I intend to break the law down to the best of my ability precept upon precept word for word. And here a little and there a little if you can dig it. Now I know I am usually very long winded and extremely thorough in my break downs so If you cant hang no problem there will be pictures and all that for the reading challenged. Forewarning it will be a rather long post to break down the two pieces of scripture on the matter of clean/unclean foods. But I find it extremly important as that is the matter of our souls salvation. You know keeping the laws and all the while in the Faith of Ha Mashayach. Okay here we go lets start by looking at Leviticus 11:1 therein the Most High tells us the Laws concerning the beast that we shall as a nation partake of that are upon all the face of the earth. So just so we understand that is any where we ever go no matter captivity no matter hemisphere or geographical local of any sort the clean is clean unto us. And the Unclean shall always and forevermore remain unclean to us. Leviticus 11:1 1And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them, 2Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth. Now after the 3rd verse he goes on to say now nevertheless as in, even though the above is allowed here is what is not allowed. Then throughout the 4th verse to the 8th verse he builds his case of what he has separated our people from. Lets read it and break it down. Leviticus 11:4-8 4 Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. 5 And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. 6 And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. 7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you. 8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you. So here we have a small list of beast given by Yah that we are not to eat of their flesh and one extra special beast that we are not to even touch of its carcase at all. As if to say these are nasty but this is the nastiest of all dont touch!!! Heres the list below lets break them down. with pictures and diagrams and such. Some will require searches to find out what exactly they are as the bible calls them something very different in most cases than we have come to know them by in this day and age. disallowed animals: ------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. The camel-cannot eat but can use of its body for furs as clothing. 2. the coney - like wise his fur for clothing and such is allowed,no eating. 3. the hare - also unclean to eat but fur can be used for clothing and such. 4. The swine - cloven footed but does not chew the cud unclean to us. Nor is his carcase allowed for any other use he is the most vile creature. Now for some of those who are scientifically challenged here is a break down of what the animals referenced up above are in modern tongue. Lets look up on Google an image of the swine and get both a mental picture of this beast and then a worded definition of what he is. 1. When read with careful eyes it should become abundantly clear that there are far more fish of the seas,rivers,lakes,ponds than Yah has allowed us to eat and partake of than any other type of beast upon the earth. The only prerequisite is that they have both fins and scales. lets take a look at the next verses for the laws on things of the air and things that creep. this is where it gets interesting. Leviticus 11:13-20 13 And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray, 14 And the vulture, and the kite after his kind; 15 Every raven after his kind; 16 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after his kind, 17 And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl, 18 And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle, 19 And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat. 20 All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you. Now reading that for some due to the names being different again from the names that we have all mostly come to know in this modern tongue might be difficult and hard to understand. Any other type of fowl that dont fly but rather walk upon ground Now lets break down the more difficult to be understood animal names like the Ossifrage for start. We have so far yet to see Yah say that he allows the meat of one of these beast to pass our lips. That alone should be extremely interesting to say the least! 5. Kite Full Definition of KITE 1 : Any of various usually small hawks (family Accipitridae) with long narrow wings and often a notched or forked tail. another thing by now if you have been either following along or doing your own research along with the post as it goes is that accipitridae is another family of bird that comes up a lot among majority of the birds listed not acceptable by Yah in Leviticus 11th chapter. As I stated above it is majorly because most birds are either carnivorous, or omnivorous. the Kite is no acception being a varying group of small hawks they too are birds of prey. again neither chewing the cud or having cloven feet. 6. However when you read down in leviticus it tells you of the flying creeping things that are allowed to us as food. This bird of course makes it meals on not only the things acceptable to use but also the unclean insects too. Therefore making this unclean to us. Not only for that reason but also because it chews not the cud and it is not cloven footed.
