A UWI professor in a recent public lecture in Dominica chuckled at what he said was the striking similarity between the two manifestos... In addition to the similarities, there were many last minute promises by the DLP, promises that were previously made by the UWP. So we seem finally to want the same things: International Airport, New Modern Hospital, improved road network including feeder roads, Roseau improvement, Portsmouth improvement with a second entry/exit from Picard, more jobs, boost in construction, reviewed welfare.... Within the first hundred days though, the entire Electoral Law must be updated.
