A Vampyres Experiments in Magick: Liliths Cakes and Ale The purpose of this magickal exercise is to energetically infuse prana into a cake [cookie, bread, food of your choice] and drink [pomegranate juice, water, beverage of your choice]. As opposed to most rituals that partake of food and drink as part of the ceremony, the purpose here is to have a blood or energy substitute for the consuming Vampyre. As a Tantric Vampyre, I would work with Tantric energy....but feel free to substitute blood-prana, emotional energy, chaos energy or whatever you find to be most appropriate to your needs. Also, I will be working with Lilith, but feel free to modify any and all images and words to fit your tastes and comfort level. The altar should include your version of cakes and ale and any ritual tools you feel inspired to use. To start, invoke Lilith through awareness of her presence. See, feel, sense her taking symbolic form as a goddess and entering your ritual space. If you do not have a memory-reference of feeling a god enter your personal space, make use of your imagination, until your finer senses kick in. In place of burning incense....or alongside of it...be very aware of her scent, let it come unto your senses, however faint it may be to you at first. For emotional atmosphere, be aware of how personally Lilith loves and cares for you, as a mother to a child. Be aware of how familiar she is to you as her energy solidifies in your ritual space. Become very comfortable and familiar with her presence. Notice how much similarity there is between you and Lilith, the same sort of similarities that one finds between loving blood relatives. Be aware that Lilith is casting a circle by walking around the room. Breathe deeply as you adjust to the changing energy in your ritual circle. Feel Lilith as she encircles you, casting the magickal circle with her presence. After she is done, be aware that Liliths energy seems to keep entering and building in your ritual space, pushing out all extra or unnecessary energies. Take the cakes and offer them up to Lilith as she stands in the North. Lilith, you are in every form. I eat you and take you into my body. Be aware that Lilith projects her energy into the cakes, until the cakes are beyond full of energy that is nourishing to you. Replace the cakes, then offer the cup up to Lilith as she stands in the West. Lilith, I drink of your blood and take you into my body and my heart. Be aware that Lilith projects her energy into the drink, until the drink is beyond full of energy that is nourishing to you. Replace the drink, then offer the cakes up to Lilith, as she stands in the South. Lilith, you are the spirit within all form, your passion moves my body. Be aware that Lilith projects her energy into the cakes, until the cakes are beyond full of energy that is nourishing to you on every level. Replace the cakes, then offer the cup up to Lilith, as she stands in the East. Lilith, your breath is my breath, your whispers are the inspirations in my mind. Be aware that Lilith projects her energy into the cup, until the drink is beyond full of energy that is nourishing to you on every level. At this point, consume the cakes and ale. When you are done, be aware that the circle opens gently, on its own. Liliths form dissolves, but her presence is still everywhere. Feel full.
