A Very Library Christmas A poem by Jenny Jones It’s here again that time of year, Of festive drinking, food and cheer. You’ve studied hard, the term was long You’re keen to join the shopping throng. But just before you say adieu, There’s things I must impart to you. You may have books you wish to take, To read ,across the Christmas break. You must be thinking what to do? To make sure you’re not overdue If you are struggling to find The means with which to ease your mind Just open up your library book And where the dates stamped, take a look And you will find a number there To wipe away your every care So enter into renewal heaven Just ring 293237. And here’s the thing you can renew Online, and this is what you do. Once on the library Catalogue, think And press “My Library Login” link. Then enter barcode and your pin, You press submit, and then you’re in. You’ll see all that you’ve taken out, And utter a triumphant shout. For wit and wisdom will ensue, Now, that you’ve learnt how to renew. So Happy Christmas, all the best, Make sure you have some fun and rest. We wish you well with Christmas cheer, We’ll see you all again next year.
