A Very Special Thank You to ALL those who have and who are serving in the Military, for you are Ministers of God. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are Gods servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Numbers 32: 20 Then Moses said to them, “If you will do this—if you will arm yourselves before the Lord for battle 21 and if all of you who are armed cross over the Jordan before the Lord until he has driven his enemies out before him— 22 then when the land is subdued before the Lord, you may return and be free from your obligation to the Lord and to Israel. And this land will be your possession before the Lord. Psalm 127:2 In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—for he grants sleep to those he loves. Proverbs 3:21 My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion; 22 they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. 23 Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble. 24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. and for those who have struggled with guilt or PTSD it is just the enemy trying to destroy the God, the call in your life. 2 Corin 10: 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 1 John 3:1 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Heb 2: 9 But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. 1 Corin 15: 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” Heb 2: 14 Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. fear of death is from the enemy, God did not give us a spirit of fear BUT a spirit of power, a spirit of love and A SOUND MIND. death is just that death, we all die but FEAR comes in the area of are you going to Heaven or to hell? Again, the enemy loves to try to see how many he can mess with, this is just the AVENUE he uses ON our heroes for our nation, just as he uses on the abused. It is a Ministry, a calling, a gift of God, that is why you are so proud to have served your country and YOU can learn to take every thought captive. As a Dear friend of mine says, just shout out loud to the universe how awesome God is, every time you are being reminded of what you did or what you saw, heard, smelled, every time a flash back comes, just look around and OUT LOUD say, Thank You God for _____, _____, the air, the trees, this home you live in, thank you for the carpet, the paint color on the walls. Go out side and Thank God for all the things you see out there. I know it sounds funny right? well when you are having a flash back, you want to take every thought captive, so you need to stop the thought process and just thank God out loud for the things right in front of you and IT will STOP, if you have to do that for an hour at first, go for it, try it it works. and if that means you spend the rest of your life thanking God for all of his creations and his promises in the bible and get better, then so be it. It has to be a life style the word of God can be your medicine, you just have to remember it is God and you need to now keep doing this daily. IF You let go of this, you could end up back with more problems than you started out with. Again a Very Special Thank You to all Our Military!! Shalom!
