A WARNING to all my family/friends. Last week when I got back into my truck from cutting a yard, I noticed I had a phone call from an unknown number. They didnt leave a voice mail so I didnt think much of it. Well today I received another call so I decided to answer it. It was a recording saying my credit card (Mastercard) had been locked and a credit card representative would help me get it unlocked if I provided them with some information. Well I knew immediately something wasnt right because I had just used the credit card less than an hour before. Plus I remembered that your credit card company NEVER calls you. So I hung up and called customer service and they verified my account was NOT locked. So please remember this when you get a call about your credit card being locked especially from an unknown number. Also please make sure you tell your elderly family/friends because sometimes they will fall for this stuff quicker than most. Its a SCAM to get your credit card information!!!
