A WELL DESERVED RANT!!!! Its no doubt that weve come far under ENIC. However it seems to be that we have hit a brick wall and ENIC have no interest in providing us with a ladder to get over it. They seem content with us being a top 7 club. I dont blame Poch and i hope he gets at least two full seasons but our transfer policy and decision making needs to change immediately. Baldini and Levy bought so many duds that AVB clearly didnt want. Poch was not backed this summer either, he wanted Schneiderlin but Levy didnt get him and instead went for the cheap option in Stambouli. How can we get the best out of managers when the club are signing players he may not even want to manage? We lack heart and commitment. Schneiderlin has shown this season what a quality player he is and although he doesnt want to be at Southampton he sweats and bleeds for his team on the pitch like every professional should. We have a centre half that every dog on the street knows is gone in one of the next two transfer windows. We havent had a really world class goal threat since Van der Vaart was sold (remember his heart and commitment). The Redknapp bashers wont like this but Levy couldnt even swallow his pride and leave Redknapp in the job. Yes, we had better players under Harry but he had us playing sublime football, we blew teams away. It was the first time in years that we finally had some stability. Anyway this isnt about Harry. The club have not replaced Modric, King, Van der Vaart and Bale and theyve made a pretty terrible job in attempting to do so. The stadium issue has been dragging on for years. The ground was half empty on Thursday night, we are not gonna put 52,000 bums on seats while we are playing Thursday night football. ENICSs decision making since weve become a guaranteed top 6/7 team has lacked so much ambition and drive that it sickens me to the core. We, as fans, spend a lot of money travelling to games and buying merchandise year in and year out and it must be the most frustrating football club in the world to follow but we do it and we have great fans who deal with disappointment year on year. Its not good enough and we deserve better. In my view its time for ENIC to go and allow this fantastic club get to the heights that we are more than capable of reaching. - PC
