A WOMAN has died after a suspected burglary at a property in Llandudno. A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary after police received reports of a disturbance at a residential property on St David’s Road, Llandudno, at 11.30pm on Sunday, September 15. A woman in her 50s collapsed at the property and was taken by ambulance to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Bodelwyddan where she died during the early hours of this morning, Monday, September 16. Her next of kin are aware and are currently being supported by Family Liaison Officers. Superintendent Steve Williams said: “I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family. “Our inquiries are continuing and I appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of St David’s Road from 11.15pm last night and may have heard anything or witnessed an incident to contact police immediately on 101. “Officers will be in the vicinity today conducting inquiries – including house to house investigations but I also urge anyone who has information to please contact us or contact Crimestoppers with information anonymously on 0800 555 111.” A post mortem will be undertaken to establish the cause of death. The man is currently awaiting questioning by police.
