A. Wake Collective introduces our You Are Unique, Own Your Individuality Campaign. This is a feedback from one of our clients and contributors of A. Wake styling, photography and discussion. Meet Jess: She says, I love how you didnt let me wear my extensions because it made me comfortable with my natural hair, which is something I thought was impossible. You go for natural beauty and its a beautiful thing! 1. How was the interview process for you? It was a bit nerve-wrecking before the actual interview but once we started, I completely forgot that we were even recording. So yes, I was pretty comfortable. The questions made me do some self-reflecting which I think is great and I didnt feel pressured to answer anything I wasnt comfortable with. Overall, it was a pretty interesting and fun experience. 2. Did you enjoy the photoshoot? Despite the fact that I was sick, I had a kickass time shooting with you. You were really fun to work with. I dont really have a favourite part. I think the whole thing was pretty awesome! I especially love how it was spontaneous and not set up in any way. We just went with the flow. 3. How do you feel about the outcome of your photos? I think they came out really nice. They look so professional! The jean jacket was my dads when he was younger and its older than me so these photos are pretty special. I cant wait to show him! 4. Do you feel that your style and personality was portrayed accurately? The colours are so vibrant and thats one thing we spoke about in the interview. The photos are pretty fierce and show a funner side as well so yes, I think my style and personality were portrayed accurately. 5. Based on what you know about A.Wake Collective, who you are, and the way you have contributed.. What would you like to see as an outcome from this movement? Yes, definitely. You have a vision and youre such a creative person so I feel like you can definitely do something big with this! I cant wait to see what you do with the name A.Wake and thanks for letting me be a part of it!
